portraits
A project for CVS Bulgaria in which we proudly participated to get the message across: volunteering is important. Both to us as individuals and to our society. The portraits we took represent some of the most active people in Sofia who inspire others to join different causes - from preserving our beautiful nature to helping humans connect and overcome social struggles. We divided the portraits into three categories: Opportunities, Values & Possibilities. The circle was used as a strong repeating element in all of them, but we wanted to explore more variations - to show that these categories may be different, but they belong to one shared vision - the volunteering circle.

Business portraits most definitely don’t need to follow a certain kind of norm, especially when you’re a part of the creative industry. These portraits were far from obeying to the common recommendations for a neutral background. But they suited more than well to our model Martina who is a web designer.

Katie Tibbetts is another great example of how creative people have a special kind of relationship to business portraits. The pose here was inspired by a sweet and dear memory and the colour palette was carefully chosen to be in harmony with the company colours - blue and yellow.
Capturing the essence of being both a fitness instructor and a recipe creator - somewhere between weight lifting and baking cupcakes. But always keeping in mind the health aspect. This is a book cover which we made for the author of “Make your diet healthy” (“Направи диетата вкусна”) Emanuel Iwudji
A joyful business portrait in which we indulged in one of our absolute favourite things - colour combinations. The first one is an analogous colour blend of emerald green and warm sand yellow. And the second one is a monochromatic colour palette - baby pink and deep crimson.
The idea here was to create a light almost ethereal feeling with a splash of bright cheerful colours. Each team member represented with his/her unique colour. These portraits were created for Fiction Design, an independent brand strategy and design studio split between Berlin and Sofia.
A series of classy studio portraits shot for Martin Ivanov, a renowned composer, conductor, a rhythm therapist and the founder of Libera Institute in Sofia. We purposefully chose the black-and-white look to emphasize on movement and gestures, the most important tools for every composer.
Lead Consult is a company offering accounting services and the nature of their business required a more classical approach. Even with this specification in mind we managed to create imaginative portraits with the best interior elements we had at hand at their office.
